Sainik School Sujanpur Tira is located on the western end of famous "Chaugan", probably the largest 'flat surface' in the whole of Himachal. The school has an area of 328 kanals and 18 marlas out of which the area covered by buildings/ roads and by lawns / garden / playground is 8440 and 51500 sq mtrs respectively.

ACADEMICS
Well ventilated ,airy class rooms equipped with modern teaching aids along with well equipped Labs for Chemistry, Physics, Maths, Biology and Computers are available.
HOSTELS
Adequate Hostel facilities are available for 546 boys. Each cadet is allotted an Almirah, Bed with mattress and a writing desk. Each hostel has adequate toilet facilities with provision for hot water during winters. All hostels are equipped with water coolers fitted with aquaguard, TV & indoor games.
MESSING
The school has a full fledged mess which provides hot meals to the students. It has two spacious dining halls which can accomodate 550 boys. The mess is run by the school administration and has all modern gadgets for preparation of hygenic and wholesome meals for all diners.These include steam cooking plant, gas tandoor,automatic machine for mincing/grinding and School Bakery.
