Academic Activities
At Sainik School Sujanpur Tira, academic excellence is given prime importance. Special efforts are made to create and maintain academic environment in the school. Cadets are encouraged to ‘Explore and Learn’ in addition to classroom teaching.
Examinations
Examinations are conducted at regular intervals to ensure continuous study and also as feed back mechanism on the progress made by the cadets in each subject. The cadets are awarded various torches as recognition to their efforts put in during the entire session as per the following criteria:

CBSE and NDA
The academic curriculum is based on CBSE syllabus and NCERT books have been prescribed for all classes from VI to XII and the school has maintained high standards of result in CBSE examination. The School has the distinction of bagging the “Raksha Mantri’s trophy" for sending maximum number of cadets to NDA in 1994, 1998 ,2018 and 2019. Till Jan 2024, 481 Cadets have joined NDA / NA and OTA/IMA/AFA. Cadet Ankit Chauhan (2583) of class XII of 2013-14 session has been awarded Certificate of Merit for outstanding performance and for being amongst the top 0.1% of successful candidates in the subject of English core in All India CBSE exam 2014. He is the only cadet amongst all Sainik Schools who has secured his place in 0.1% toppers.
