For class VI, the question paper will be in English as well as all other recognized official languages. For class IX, the question paper will be set in English only. No separate answer sheets are required as ample space for answers is provided in the question paper itself.
The minimum qualifying marks for general category candidates and children of Defence Personnel and Ex-Servicemen are 25% in each subject with 40% in aggregate. For SC/ST/OBC candidates, minimum qualifying academic standards are not required; they will be admitted based on inter-se merit within their category. If a SC/ST/OBC candidate qualifies in the general merit, they are admitted over and above the reserved seats.
